Xint Selected for Anthropic and OpenAI's Cyber Programs
Xint announced on October 16th that it has joined Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program (CVP) as a participating company.
Anthropic's CVP is a program that provides access to advanced cybersecurity AI capabilities, typically limited to qualified security firms and experts. This enables the utilization of the latest AI models in high-level security research, such as malware analysis, vulnerability detection, and attack path verification.
With the addition of Anthropic CVP, Xint will be able to further enhance the offensive security detection and attack path verification engines of its AI-based autonomous penetration testing platform. In particular, by incorporating the precise reasoning capabilities of AI agents into source code and binary analysis, as well as penetration testing in real-service environments, it is expected to reduce false positives and dramatically accelerate the discovery of high-risk vulnerabilities.
Xint had previously received approval to participate in OpenAI's cyber defense program, “Daybreak,” thereby securing restricted, security-specialized AI access rights from both of the leading companies in the global AI industry.
Xint is a company founded by a research team that has won the DEF CON CTF, the world's most prestigious hacking competition, nine times, and has proven its technological prowess on the international stage, including securing third place in the AI Cyber Challenge hosted by DARPA. This approval is highly significant in that it meets the stringent screening criteria of a leading global AI company, based on the world-class offensive security research capabilities and expertise accumulated over such a long period.
"As AI is rapidly reducing the time and cost required for cyber attacks, defenders must also be able to actively utilize the most advanced AI technology," said Brian Pak, CEO of Xint. "This approval is a significant opportunity to apply world-class AI technology to broader security research. Based on this, Xint will develop technologies to identify and verify actual exploitable vulnerabilities more quickly and accurately, helping customers respond to threats before attackers do."
